For us, the idea has always been coffee.
Not just the culture. Or just the product.
Coffee as a series of choices, agricultural, sensory, technical, and emotional, converging in a single cup.

Al-Wajar- Where the Story Began
In the mid-1990s, we established a small café on this very site.
We named it Al-Wajar, a traditional Haili word that refers to the hearth-the place where the fire burns, people gather, conversations unfold, and stories begin.
More than just a café, Al-Wajar was a place of interaction, discussion, and bringing ideas alive through the fire.

Today, the Story Continues
Hajiss returns today in a refreshed incarnation. Hajiss is not a new beginning; it is an extension of a long-standing tale that started well over thirty years ago. The same location. The same enthusiasm. The same dedication to making somewhere where individuals convene to appreciate what is rightfully worthy of being appreciated. Al-Wajar was the hearth, while Hajiss is the flame rekindled.
